What am I going on about? The opening festivities for BERLIN BEER WEEK 2023! Germany’s largest craft beer festival always kicks off with “Brews Cruises” on the Spree, followed by even more events, parties and specials on land. Here’s the info we have for the 7th annual BBW so you can plan your September, and maybe even your early bird tickets for 2024…
Confession: My obsession with Spree Cruises
Per my last post, I, Brie Pasko, am currently obsessed with Spree Cruises. Seeing this beautiful city I’ve inhabited for the last 9 years from yet another new angle is a gift. Now… imagine it paired with a beer tasting with your buddies under the late summer sky. WHAT COULD BE BETTER THAN THAT? For me, it would have to be a gluten-free option – but please, allow me to live vicariously through all of you.

The fun begins
Don’t fret, these cruises are just the beginning of Berlin Beer Week (Sep 1-10). Since they start selling out well before the summer arrives, we thought we’d give you a heads-up. The full BBW schedule and events aren’t public at this time, so the best way to know what’s happening is to follow @berlinbeerweek. They even throw in a special or two on Brews Cruise tickets in the spring (Women’s Day, Easter…)
Last year, we got in the craft beer spirit by visiting some friends at Bräugier – be sure to check them out! Stay updated with the official event page and enjoy the last month of summer to the fullest 🙂
