Are you ready for International Women’s Day / Frauentag?!
Did you know that in 2020, Berlin became the first German state to make International Women’s Day a public holiday?
Rather than just taking pleasure in having the day off this year, here are 3 events in Berlin you can attend and celebrate womanhood!
PARTY!
Ring in festivities at an all-women party at Berghain on March 7th, the night before Women’s day.
This time you have no excuse – it’s a Berlin public holiday, so get your butt to the cue! All genders are welcome to enjoy the killer lineup of exclusively female and gender-non-conforming artists.
POWER!
Chinkilla is organizing FORTYFOUR free martial arts training sessions for women all over Germany on March 8th!
You can attend at three different Berlin locations: Kreuzberg, Mitte, and Shöneberg. Just check the Eventbrite for exact locations and times. Women of all ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels are welcome.
March!
Demo starts13:00 at Invalidenpark, making its way to Bebelplatz for a closing rally at 15:00. (details)
What’s life in Berlin without a demo? Seriously, it’s a rite of passage if you haven’t yet. Make a poster and chant your heart out for peace, freedom, self-determination, and fair work for women.
And finally, on behalf of our Women-led team, we’d like to celebrate IWD with you by offering a discount on our services. Use code “WOMXN2023” for 20% off a coaching between March 5th and 12th.
