Coaching: Applying for the Gründungszuschuss

104.00

Unemployed in Germany? Already on ALG1? If you want to be an entrepreneur, consider applying for the Gründungszuschuss. I got it and started Red Tape Translation with the money. I’d love to help you get it too.

This is a great place to send us a list of questions or give us some background information so we can prepare. Tip: if you're working on an application, create a shared folder online and give us the link and password here. Otherwise, you can upload documents (e.g. correspondence) below instead.
If you've got files you'd like your coach to have access to when you speak, you can upload them here. You can use the text form above to share a link and a password to an online folder, if you'd prefer.

    Description

If you are facing unemployment or already receiving Arbeitslosengeld I and you want to start a business, this government grant is the perfect way to get things rolling while money is tight at the start. Just because you’re eligible doesn’t mean you’re entitled to it, though – it’s a tough application that really needs to tick all the bureaucratic boxes. In this coaching, I will:

    • Go through the eligibility criteria
    • Help you with the application form
    • Give you detailed information about the supporting documents
    • Organise translation of your business plan (on request, separate cost)
    • Put you in touch with English-speaking professionals to create a strong application

I received a Gründungszuschuss in 2012 and used it to get Red Tape Translation off the ground. I’d be delighted to share my knowledge and offer anecdotal pearls of wisdom.
