We’ll talk you through the application process to get a Wohnberechtigungsschein so you can access the listings for subsidised housing in your state. This is a reduced price coaching.

    Description

    Have you ever come across these phrases while perusing apartment listings: “ Nur mit WBS” or “Wohnberechtigungsschein erforderlich”? The mysterious Wohnberechtigungsschein [permit for subsidized housing] or WBS is a document you can apply for at the Bürgeramt. If your income does not exceed a certain amount, you might be eligible for one of the 100,000 affordable, subsidized apartments in Berlin. These apartments are funded by the city and therefore cheaper.

    In this coaching, we will
    – assess your eligibility
    – help you fill out the application form
    – give you a custom list of documents to include, and/or check them over
    – Send you a template cover letter for your application and identify the office responsible for your case

    Good to know

    You don’t have to use the hour all at once. You can split it into two 30-minute sessions if you’d prefer, and it’s fine to use the second session for a different topic.
